Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Technician / ASCP certified
Multiple positions open for an MT/MLT, ASCP or eligible wanted to join professional Laboratory staff at Herington Municipal Hospital.
Registered Nurse positions available for Critical Access Hospital. Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, and interventions of all age groups in ER and Med/surg. Works effectively with others as well as having leadership and teaching skills.
Licensed Practical Nurse
Currently taking applications for LPN's wanting to join the professional staff at Herington Municipal Hospital.
Certified Medical Coder
The coder is accountable for conversion of diagnoses and treatment procedures into codes using ICD-9 and/or CPT coding references, modifiers, and current coding guidelines. Requires skill in sequencing diagnoses/procedures to assure compliance with federal and state regulations. Coders screen medical records with approved Medical Staff criteria for peer review. The coder is responsible for proper coding of service types available at HMH facility. Required license or certification: RHIT
Health Information Manager
Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the activities of employees engaged in the establishment, maintenance, control, and dissemination of medical records and related patient information. Protects organizations and physicians legal interests by ensuring medical records are maintained in compliance with all accreditation and governmental regulatory agency standards. Designs information systems and improves information retrieval methods to make data more accessible. Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in analyzing, compiling, coding, indexing, and filing of medical records. Responsible for conformity of medical records to federal/state regulations.
