Herington Municipal Hospital is excited to announce that we are accepting applications for the following positions:

Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Technician / ASCP certified
Multiple positions open for an MT/MLT, ASCP or eligible wanted to join professional Laboratory staff at Herington Municipal Hospital.

Medical Laboratory Manager
Responsible for the direction and coordination of personnel in the laboratory department. Activities include performance of chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests performed in the laboratory to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Ensure that services are of the best quality, are cost contained and are carried out in an expeditious manner. Responsible for recognizing results or problems that require referral to the laboratory pathologist. Maintain performance improvement activities within the department and participate in CQI activities. Formulate the budget and maintain effective physician and intradepartmental relations.

Registered Nurse
Registered Nurse positions available for Critical Access Hospital for Day and Night shift. Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, and interventions of all age groups in ER and Med/surg. Works effectively with others as well as having leadership and teaching skills.

Licensed Practical Nurse
Currently taking applications for LPN's wanting to join the professional staff at Herington Municipal Hospital.

Dietary Manager
The Dietary Department Head directs and coordinates food service activities of the Hospital, as well as supervises the entire staff in the department. This includes the supervision of staff orientation, on the job training, personnel problems, and employee performance evaluations.responsible for department ordering and purchasing, the development of the department budget and for the evaluation of equipment needs. Requires completion of an approved Certified Dietary Manager Program. 

Health Information Manager
Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the activities of employees engaged in the establishment, maintenance, control, and dissemination of medical records and related patient information. Protects organizations and physicians legal interests by ensuring medical records are maintained in compliance with all accreditation and governmental regulatory agency standards. Designs information systems and improves information retrieval methods to make data more accessible. Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in analyzing, compiling, coding, indexing, and filing of medical records. Responsible for conformity of medical records to federal/state regulations.
