FT Director of Nursing

Current RN license with a minumum of three years nurse management experience, preferable in a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Working knowledge of Federal and State regulations and requirements.
Organizes and administers all areas of the nursing service department. Performs a variety of administrative and managerial functions. Develops goals and objectives for the nursing service department. Supervises all nursing department personnel. Maintains and oversees up-to-date licensure, education and training for all nursing staff.

FT Clinic Nursing Supervisor

RN Nurse Coordinator, Herington Area Health Clinic . Supervises nursing schedule to assure adequate coverage. Maintains complete procedure manual of clinic functions with regards to protocols,regulations, disaster training, equipment training, calibrations, directions, outdated meds/narcotics, etc., that affect the quality of care from the nursing/provider staff. Oversees the QA ( Quality Assurance) process at  the clinic and reports to Director of Nursing at Herington Municipal Hospital. Works with patients and families, tracks tests, pharmaceuticals, and document results. Physician office experience preferred.

FT Phlebotomist

Collects samples in appropriate order, uses reference guides as needed. Assists other laboratory staff in the processes of registration, billing and filing of patient charts. Requires ability to read and understand written information. Must be able to meet deadlines and effectively work under moderate stress with various interruptions. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This position requires a high school diploma and preferably at least one year phlebotomy experience and knowledge of laboratory terminology.
